The second trimester is a great time to start preparing the baby room and yourself as your belly grows and you start getting uncomfortable. Most pregnant women have more energy during the second trimester which makes getting prepared easier.
There is a lot that needs to get done before your little bundle of joy arrives and it may seem overwhelming but the easiest thing to do is take it one day at a time.
Making a list of what needs to get done can help make the task seem smaller than it is. Not stressing which is easier said than done is important. Your body is already going through the physical stress of growing a baby there is no need to add more stress.
Starting simple is the best way to go and remember you don’t need to do it all yourself. Ask a family member, friend, partner, or spouse to help you out. That way you are not tiring your self out 24/7.

When an item gets purchased from your list it will tell you that someone has bought that item and they can have it shipped straight to you or they can have it shipped to them.

With the increase in energy, this is a great time to work in the nursery. Shopping for furniture and decor is fun and exciting. Tell your Boss
If you haven’t already this is a good time to talk to your boss and let them know that you are expecting.That way you are giving them plenty of time to get ready for your maternity leave if you plan going back to work.

Birthing classes are taken towards the end of your third trimester, however, birthing classes fill quickly and it is suggested to sign up for your fourth and six months. While you still have the energy preparing freezer meals is a life saver for when you get home. Having a newborn is tiring and cooking dinner is something that will not be on your mind. Preparing ahead of time will make putting on dinner a lot easier.

If you are interested in having a professional maternity shoot start looking for photographers and book in advanced. Most photographers will do maternity shoots in the third trimester.
The second trimester is such a special time in your pregnancy. During this time you’ll begin to show, begin to feel the baby kick, and find out the gender.
Taking some time away with your spouse if you can. Go out on dates and have fun dreaming of the new little family. The third trimester will be here before you know it.
Now that you have more energy (hopefully) it is time to get as much as you can before the third trimester hits and before it gets even more difficult to move. But, don’t overwhelm yourself! Take things slow and work on your to-do list throughout your second trimester.
